La sonrisa de un niño es el mejor regalo de amor y así lo interiorizaron nuestros estudiantes de sexto grado de primaria, quienes en forma activa participaron en la Campaña de recolección de tapitas de plástico para donarlas al Programa Angelitos de Cristal del Hospital del Niño; como se sabe la Epidermólisis Bulosa (EB), una extraña enfermedad genética de costoso tratamiento que provoca extrema fragilidad en la piel y algunos órganos internos. Con la venta de las tapitas recolectadas, los niños que acuden al programa pueden comprar vendas, geles, leche y vitaminas.
Nuestros estudiantes con mucho entusiasmo y compromiso asumieron el reto y su esfuerzo se vio recompensado, demostrando así valores como empatía, respeto y solidaridad.
Hacemos nuestras las palabras de nuestro patrono San Agustín: “Ser una comunidad de una sola alma y un solo corazón”, una comunidad en la que el amor hacia nuestros hermanos en Cristo sea la luz que guíe nuestro camino, hacernos responsables por las necesidades ajenas, no permanecer impasibles ante el sufrimiento, es a lo que aspiramos.
