Entre el mes de abril hasta el mes de agosto se desarrollaron las actividades propias del club de matemáticas al que fueron invitados nuestros más apasionados estudiantes del curso.
El objetivo del Club de Matemáticas es desarrollar en los estudiantes las competencias necesarias de la materia y motivarlos para que puedan dar libertad a su imaginación y creatividad, promoviendo las habilidades de pensamiento, sociales, de comunicación y de investigación.
Usando la estrategia de “Misiones matemáticas “, estimulamos la creatividad, el pensamiento lateral, la fluidez de ideas, el espíritu crítico y la objetividad confrontando a los participantes con problemas de alta complejidad y relacionando esta ciencia con el entorno.
Es importante que como agustinos resaltemos en este Club el hecho de trabajar siempre en comunidad buscando encontrar la Verdad.
Festival de Matemática Adecopa
El Festival de Matemática, organizado por ADECOPA, es un momento de algarabía donde prima el trabajo en comunidad entre los asistentes que disfrutan trabajando con esta ciencia.
En este evento los estudiantes confraternizan compartiendo intereses, experiencias y conocimientos, todo esto dentro de un escenario matemático donde los problemas tradicionales se dejan de lado para dar pase a otros donde el ingenio, la audacia, la inventiva y el trabajo en comunidad son relevantes para encontrar las soluciones.
El objetivo del Festival de Matemáticas ADECOPA es acercar más a los estudiantes a situaciones recreativas y reales que les permitan comprender que lo que aprenden día a día en las aulas tiene un uso en la vida de las personas, ya sea para resolver situaciones de aplicación práctica, así como para divertirse o asombrar a los demás.
Por ello, este evento más que una situación de evaluación de los estudiantes es una oportunidad para el aprendizaje de los mismos.
