Cuando una persona escucha Brasil, se le viene a la mente la playa, el sol, el Cristo Redentor, maravillosos paisajes, la naturaleza, la diversidad, entre muchas otras cosas más. Y es verdad, Brasil tiene todo lo mencionado anteriormente, solo falta un pequeño detalle, este lugar ofrece miles de cosas extras que van más allá del disfrutar.
Esta experiencia comienza desde antes de llegar al país. Comienza con la difícil decisión de dejar a tu familia y que ellos te dejen a ti por un mes. Ni bien llegas a tierras brasileras se vienen a la cabeza miles de pensamientos: ¿Ahora qué voy a hacer? ¿Cumplirá con mis expectativa? ¿Sucederá algo? ¿Tendré la necesidad de mi familia? ¿Cómo será la convivencia con mi compañeros de cuarto? El primer día fue agotador, llegamos al hotel de amanecida, todos estábamos agotados y teníamos que seguir con nuestro itinerario, dormimos muy poco, pero valió la pena porque esta experiencia no la olvidaré jamás. La primera semana fue la más difícil, salir de tu zona de confort y adaptarte a un nuevo lugar, a una nueva cama, a un nuevo cuarto, a un nuevo país, a una nueva aventura.
Muchos pensarán que la convivencia es complicada, sí lo es, aunque al mismo tiempo es divertida. Me quedé sorprendido de la cantidad de confianza que pude tener con mis amigos de cuarto, nunca imaginé conocer a una persona en tan poco tiempo y desarrollar tal lazo. Todos los días fueron increíbles, nos reíamos, hacíamos bromas y lo más importante, nunca perdimos la cordura. Fue un equilibrio total, la pasábamos bien y a la vez cumplíamos con nuestros deberes.
A parte de todas las experiencias personales, lo maravilloso que es Brasil le da un plus a este viaje. Recordaré por siempre todos los lugares que visité. La maravilla también se encuentra en las personas de ahí, afortunadamente nos recibieron con alegría, nos demostraron que tienen un gran corazón ya que nos comprendían, ayudaban, y en ellos encontramos grandes amigos.
Aún me queda mucho por describir… solo lo puedo resumir en dos palabras: viaje perfecto. A pesar de los problemas que sufrimos, todo valió la pena, siempre serán buenas las experiencias de tensión durante una travesía, sirven para encontrar un punto medio a todo. Gracias a Dios por cuidarnos durante el viaje, le agradezco que por algo dejó que sucedan muchas cosas, es su voluntad y no la nuestra. Todos quedamos agradecidos con nuestros padres porque como una persona me dijo: “Esto no es un gasto, es una inversión”. Ellos en vez de gastar el dinero en lujos o placeres, lo invirtieron en nosotros, se sacrificaron porque no es fácil dejar a un hijo. También, me quedo con una enseñanza de esa misma persona. “Las aves de granja tienen todas sus comodidades y nunca podrán volar, mientras que las aves que migran conocen y se adaptan a todo tipo de circunstancia, ellas son las únicas que vuelan.”
